Journey

Life is a collection of stories, and everyone one has a story to tell.

My story began in the year 2006 when I was pursuing my Bachelor of Fine Arts (JNTU). The Lord was good and merciful to give me a few companions who were passionate for Christ and His Gospel. They were very close to me, and encouraged me to use my artistic gifts to glorify God. The first time I attempted to do this was when one of my companions was invited to share the stage with an international gospel band as a guest singer. In our collective desire to make it a memorable time for him, I was tasked with hand painting a t-shirt for him to wear on the night of the concert. My friend was surprised by the gift and wore it for the concert the next day. It was an exciting moment for all of us, and that triggered a desire to paint t-shirts for all my friends.

During the initial days of my journey with Jesus I would often wear a favorite t-shirt of mine that had the phrase “He died for me and I live for him” on it (seen in the picture above). Those words still echo in my heart. Jesus changed my life, and now, I want to live for Him. God had placed a deep desire in me to use this gift to help people understand the good news of Jesus Christ. As the years passed, I became a full-time graphic designer, and eventually became the founder of a graphic design studio called 'Grace Design Studio'.

 

Vision & Mission

Romans 1:16 says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." How do you share the gospel with your friends in college and neighbors at home, a colleague at your workplace or a stranger you met today?

Humble Donkey is on a mission to create t-shirts as an effective tool to point people to Jesus. Here is an opportunity to become part of it every time you wear or give one of our products to someone else. Something as simple as your t-shirt can arouse curiosity which may eventually turn into conversations of eternal value. Each Bible verse and design idea is meant to bless, encourage, and equip you to be an effective vessel for the transformative power of the Gospel.
